The platform also offers other popular cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, USD Coin, Dogecoin, Tether, and Binance USD. Trades can also stake tokens and earn rewards.
How does IDEX tax reporting work?
Are you an IDEX trader looking for an IDEX tax report? The platform doesn’t offer any tax documents, but you can make use of Accointing’s IDEX tax calculator and portfolio tracker. The tracker allows you to analyze your transactions history while the tax calculator can generate detailed IDEX tax reports according to your country’s required format.
To achieve this, simply connect your IDEX account to Accointing and import your trades history data. Here are different ways of achieving this:
- API – Allow Accointing to connect automatically to your IDEX account and sync your transaction data.
- CSV - Export IDEX transaction history and import it into Accointing.
- Accointing template - Download and fill our template then upload the data into Accointing.

- Select a crypto asset to analyze its buy and sell dates. You can also choose multiple assets at a go and compare their performance for the chosen dates.

Common issues with importing transactions from IDEX
The IDEX CSV file contains trading data but not trading fees, withdrawals, and deposits. To get a comprehensive tax report, these data are also required. You can send a request to IDEX support requesting a complete CSV file containing withdrawals, deposits, and fees.
The IDEX API on the other hand, will not sync fees charged on completed trades. However, IDEX has been working to upgrade its API to support this. If you notice that trade fees are missing, you can request their support team for a complete CSV file to allow you to import all your transaction history.
