How does Coinbase tax reporting work?

Trading your crypto assets on Coinbase is simple due to its highly intuitive platform. But when it comes to generating tax reports, that’s where it falls short. However, Accointing allows you to

Common issues with importing transactions from Coinbase

When exporting your transaction history to a CSV, Coinbase usually doesn’t start the download. Instead, the file is sent to the email connected to your account. The challenge with this is that you won’t get the email in your inbox within minutes or a day. It may take up to a week.

Also, if you had a Coinbase Pro subscription, the CSV file won’t contain any data from your Pro account. Therefore, you’ll have to download it separately.

Take note that Coinbase will request a 2F authentication before allowing you to send your request for transaction history.
