TradeOgre is a centralized crypto exchange platform supporting more than 50 cryptocurrencies. The platform applies a flat fee of 0.2% on coin exchanges but the withdrawal fees are determined dynamically, dependent on the type of crypto being withdrawn. TradeOgre is a great platform for beginners looking to reduce their trading fees.

How does TradeOgre tax reporting work?

If you’re looking for a TradeOgre tax report, then you’re in the right place. There’s no way to get such a tax report directly from TradeOgre. However, you can use Accointing’s TradeOgre calculator and portfolio tracker to analyze your transaction history. You can also calculate your TradeOgre taxes and generate a tax report in a format specific to your country’s requirements.

TradeOgre doesn’t issue tax reports for those looking to file their crypto taxes. However, the tax reports are accessible via Accointing’s TradeOgre calculator and portfolio tracker. TradeOgre itself does not offer this sort of report, but you can analyze your transaction history, calculate your TradeOgre taxes, and produce a tax report compliant with your country's regulations using Accointing.

You can do that by integrating your TradeOgre account with Accointing and importing your transaction history data. The following are methods of achieving that:

  1.  API – Allow Accointing to access your TradeOgre account automatically and sync the transaction data.
  2. CSV – export TradeOgre transaction history into a CSV and import it into Accointing.
  3. Accointing template - download and fill our simple template, then upload the data into Accointing.

Integrate with Accointing via the TradeOgre API

TradeOgre currently doesn’t offer an API integration for tax reporting purposes but has an API for trading. Users looking for tax reports, therefore, have to download a CSV file of the trade history from TradeOgre and import it into Accointing.

Downloading CSV files from TradeOgre

If you don’t want to link your Tradeogre account with Accointing using the API, you can also do so by importing a CSV file containing your history of trades, withdrawals, and deposits. Here is a simple step to go about it.

  1. Login to your TradeOgre account and enable the two-factor authentication if it’s not turned on.
  2. On the left navigation pane, click on Trade History.
  3. On the right pane with your trade history table, click the Export All Trade History (CSV) link.

How to review and track your TradeOgre transactions in Accointing

  1. Once done with importing your TradeOgre transactions, go to your Accointing dashboard to see a summary of your portfolio.
  2. Choose the desired date range and start analyzing your TradeOgre transactions history, gains, and losses.
  3. Click the different crypto assets and start analyzing your buy and sell dates. You can also choose multiple assets at a go to compare asset performance for specified dates.
  4. You’re all set to start tracking your TradeOgre trading portfolio, distribution and spread. Also, learn whether an asset is stored in a wallet or an exchange.

Common issues with importing transactions from TradeOgre

TradeOgre CSV file only includes your trading history while deposits, withdrawals, and fees are excluded. Importing this file will result in an incomplete tax report. You can request a complete transactions history file by sending an email to their support team.

You may also experience a challenge with importing the CSV file due to the missing or improperly formatted timestamps. If that’s the case, you can also request the TradeOgre support for a proper CSV file with correct timestamps.
